MATERIALS
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
No. We don’t have a general minimum order quantity for materials collected directly from us. Whether you need a smaller quantity or ongoing bulk supply, talk to our team.
Do you sell materials by the tonne or cubic metre?
Our materials are sold by the tonne and weighed on our weighbridges. If your quantities are in cubic metres (m³), we can assist with an estimated conversion.
Can I collect material myself?
Yes. You’re welcome to collect using your own suitable vehicle. Material is loaded and weighed at our operation.
Do you sell sand or stone in bags?
No, we supply materials in bulk and do not offer a bagging service. If you require a smaller quantity, you’re welcome to bring your own suitable bags and bag the material yourself at our premises, subject to our site and safety requirements.
Do you deliver materials?
Yes. Virtigo has its own transport capability and can arrange delivery depending on your location, material and quantity required. We also specialise in larger-volume and ongoing bulk supply.
I’m not sure which material I need. Can you help?
Yes. Tell us what you’re using it for and we’ll help you identify an appropriate option. If your project has an engineering or technical specification, send it through to us so we can check your requirements.
TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS
What transport services does Virtigo offer?
Virtigo operates its own heavy transport fleet and provides transport solutions for bulk materials, equipment and other suitable loads. Tell us what needs to move, where it’s coming from and where it’s going, and we’ll advise on the appropriate solution.
Can you transport heavy machinery?
Yes. Virtigo has lowbed capability for the transport of suitable heavy equipment and machinery. Send us the machine details, collection point and destination so that we can assess the transport requirements.
Do you only transport Virtigo’s own materials?
No. Our transport operation is a service in its own right. We can assist with transporting customer or third-party materials depending on the load, route and equipment required.
Can you handle ongoing or high-volume transport requirements?
Yes. Our fleet is suited to both individual transport requirements and ongoing project work. For larger contracts, speak to us about volumes, routes, turnaround requirements and project duration.
Do you transport outside the Western Cape?
Yes. Our transport capability extends beyond the Western Cape. We operate across South Africa and can assess longer-distance requirements according to the load, route and project.
What information do you need for a transport quote?
Ideally, send us the load or commodity, approximate weight or quantity, collection point, delivery point, required date and any special loading or access requirements. For machinery, include the machine type and dimensions where available.
PLANT & EQUIPMENT
What machines are available for hire?
Virtigo operates a range of heavy equipment including front-end loaders, excavators and screening equipment. Availability depends on the machine required, location, project duration and current commitments.
Can you bring the machine to our site?
Yes. Virtigo has lowbed capability for the transport of suitable heavy equipment and machinery. Send us the machine details, collection point and destination so that we can assess the transport requirements.
What information do you need for a plant hire quote?
Tell us the type of work, site location, machine required if known, expected duration, working hours and any relevant site conditions. If you’re unsure which machine you need, describe the job and our team can assist.
Do your machines come with operators?
Speak to our team about your requirements. Our plant solutions can include experienced operators depending on the machine, project and hire arrangement.
Do you offer mobile screening?
Yes. Virtigo has mobile screening capability and can assist with selected on-site material processing and screening requirements.
Do you offer short-term and long-term plant hire?
Yes. We can consider anything from specific project requirements to longer-term operational support, subject to equipment availability and the nature of the work.
Can Virtigo provide the material, transport and machinery for one project?
Yes, and this is where our broader capability becomes particularly useful. Depending on the project, Virtigo can combine material supply, transport, plant and operators into one practical solution.

Where is Virtigo based?
Our operation is based near Malmesbury in the Western Cape, with capabilities extending well beyond the immediate area.
How do I request a quote?
Complete our enquiry form, call us or send us an email. Give us as much information as possible about what you need, quantities, location and timing so that we can assist efficiently.
Do you only work with large companies?
No. We work across different project sizes and customer types. From someone collecting a smaller quantity of material to farms, contractors and larger commercial or infrastructure projects, talk to us about what you need.
How quickly will someone get back to me?
Our enquiries are handled by our team during normal business hours. We’ll get back to you as soon as reasonably possible, particularly where we need to check availability, transport or project requirements before quoting.
Can Virtigo assist if what I need isn’t listed on the website?
